My Story
One could say I have been a graphic designer since childhood. The logo located in the left corner of my website was created for a third-grade art project. Our class was instructed to combine our initials in an interesting way. We carved our designs into potatoes, dipped the carved potatoes into paint, and stamped our designs onto sheets of paper. And it was at that point the branding of Lilia M. LaGesse began and I was officially hooked on design.
With the introduction of the Apple computer, my interests quickly shifted from the more rudimentary potato-carving approach to graphic design to designing on the computer. And after spending a couple of decades in school refining my skills, I currently work as a designer in the Washington, DC metro area.
My recent projects include designing a report and website for an international philanthropy, developing an integrated brand strategy for a local non-profit organization, and creating a travel guide for the iPad.
I strive to create unique designs that exceed my clients’ expectations for all of my projects, and would love to hear you soon.
Have a good one!
